Frequently Asked Questions:

Will the virtual meetings be recorded? Yes, the meetings will be recorded and made available to participants only. The recordings will not be made public.

What is the annual contribution for? Lama Adam and Lama Kathy are donating their time and experience to this project as a means of raising funds for Mindfulness For Life.

Do I have to do the readings? Yes. Participants make the personal commitment to complete the readings each month to the best of their ability. If circumstances cause you to get behind one month, it’s still OK to attend the discussion. But it’s vital to get back on schedule with the readings as quickly as possible.

Is attendance at the meetings mandatory? No, but the community dialogues are the real heart of this program, so we encourage you to be as involved as you are comfortable for the benefit of our group and all beings.

Is participation in the group discussions mandatory? No. You won’t be called on to speak unless you want to, and you are welcome to have your camera on or off according to your needs.

What if I cannot afford the annual contribution? If the annual contribution is a hurdle to your participation, please email Lama Adam at adam@mindfulness-for-life.org to inquire about sponsorship. Depending on the generosity of donors, free or reduced cost access may be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
