Creative Awakening is not an art class! It's an ongoing monthly series built around using what already moves you, your favorite music, art, nature, film, and more, as objects of meditation. In time, you'll begin to discern and emulate the aspects that most resonate, and make a new relationship with what feels dissonant or out of reach. Through both, you can increase your appreciation and manifestation of creativity.
Our next session is Tuesday, Oct 20th, co-facilitated by Lama Adam and with special guest Micheal Medeiros. Michael is a writer, artist, and teacher who works with wild clay, handmade terracotta, and salvaged industrial materials to share lived histories through public art. Together we'll share our own experiences working with art and mindfulness, and you'll do the same, learning to move through the world with greater playfulness and presence; as a true creative.
